About Us
Tortilleria Santo NiƱo de Atocha
We supply Nashville farmers markets with the highest quality tortillas and chips. We grind Kentucky corn daily for our batch-made products.
My father, Luis Salazar, was a farm worker whose lifelong dream was to open his own tortilla business. He never realized his dream.
Today, I operate Santo Nino de Atocha Tortilleria as a tribute to him. With the support of my family--husband John, daughters Carole and Lillian, and sons-in-law Mark and Colby--we have created a business that believes in providing fresh, wholesome tortillas made the old-fashioned way.
We soak the corn overnight, grind the corn into masa, run the masa through our tortilla machine and hand-package each packet of tortillas. We fry our tortillas in canola oil and season it with sea salt. All natural ingredients for a superior-tasting product.
We invite you to see our small production facility and taste the difference.
